January 12, 2016
Free Enrollment Event hosted by Haywood Regional Medical Center / Mountain Projects / Haywood Community College
We are partnering with Mountain Projects, and Haywood Community College to educate our community with a Marketplace Enrollment Event on Wednesday January 25th, 2017. The event will be held from 10:00am to 1:00pm. at the Haywood Community College Auditorium, 185 Freedlander Drive, Clyde, NC.
This free walk-in event will include one-on-one assistance in health insurance enrollment and information about services available to the Haywood County community. This event will help those who wish to sign up for affordable health insurance before the final deadline of January 31, 2016, re-enroll or make changes to their coverage, and avoid the IRS fine for not being covered by insurance.
The open enrollment period is an opportunity to not only gain access to quality affordable health care, but also a chance for people to avoid paying a fine when they file their taxes. Those who do not enroll in a plan by the deadline of January 31, 2016, could face a fine of $695 or 2.5% of yearly income, whichever is greater.
Representatives (Certified Navigators) will be available from:
- Haywood Regional Medical Center
- Mountain Projects
