Darlene Haley BSN, RN

Program Manager/ Director/ Home Care and Community Programs of HRMC

Graduated from Haywood Community College with ADN 1994, Graduated from Lees-McRae College with BSN, Summa Cum Laude 2014. Has worked for Haywood Regional Medical Center for 23 Years. Director of Home Care Services since 2015. Clinical Manager for Home Care Services for the past 5 years. Darlene is passionate about her career in nursing and helping the people of Haywood County.  She enjoys spending time with her family and is an avid runner.

Brooke Ashe, Physical Therapist Assistant

Brooke graduated from Southwestern Community College in 2008 with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapy. Brooke has experience in a variety of therapy settings including short term rehab, out patient, and home care. So far working with people one on one in their home environment is her favorite. She is a lifelong Haywood County resident and enjoys helping people return to the community at their maximal potential.  When not working Brooke enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband. 

Janna Biddlecome, RN

Janna graduated from Hinds Community College in Jackson, MS with an Associates degree in Nursing. She worked as a staff nurse in oncology for 5 years before moving to NC and accepting a field nurse position in Home Health. She is fluent in Russian and has some knowledge of Ukraine language. She enjoys helping people.

Cindy Hall

Cindy Hall is a graduate of Southwestern Community college with Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant.  I have been an employee At Haywood Regional Medical Center for 21 plus years working in Outpatient Therapy Services and recently transferred to Home Health Therapy Services.  I am a native of Western North Carolina and I love living in such a beautiful area and feel blessed to be able to serve the residents of my home.

Katherine Hunter PT CEEAA 

Graduated from PT School in 1988 with a BS degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She is certified as an Exercise Expert for Aging Adults through the Geriatrics Section of the APTA. She has traveled as a Physical Therapist and is Licensed in 4 states: NC, FL, WA, and WY.  She has worked for HRMC for 9 years in homecare. She and her husband Ron live locally and share a passion for growing an abundance of flowering plants, kayaking, and biking.

Louise Jennings

Louise is the Office Coordinator for Home Care services. She relocated here from Florida sixteen years and is a native of Connecticut.  She's been an employee of HRMC all of her 16 years in North Carolina and has worked in both Hospice and Home Care. Her number one passion at work is helping people and her favorite hobby is loving on her granddaughters. 

Christina Lamonda, DPT

Christina graduated from University of St Augustine in 2010 with a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.  She traveled as a PT for six years and had the opportunity to experience many different settings and meet many different walks of life. Christina enjoys spending time with family and friends near and far and exploring the beautiful outdoors.  She enjoys hiking, camping trail running and yoga.  Christina is passionate about working closely with families in the home health setting and helping to improve patient’s quality of life. 

Jeff Lee, OT 

Jeff graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BA degree in Business Administration in 1983. He proudly served in the Army 1986-1992 and flew medivac during Desert Storm. He graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina with a BS degree in Occupational Therapy in 1994. He worked in a South Carolina outpatient orthopedic Rehab Clinic before moving to North Carolina in 1997.  Since then, he has worked for Haywood Regional Medical Center in a variety of therapy settings including outpatient orthopedics, hand rehab, upper extremity sports medicine, occupational health, and home health. He is passionate about serving his patients and “therapeutic use of self.” During his free time he enjoys riding motorcycles, hiking, camping and spending time with his family.

Michael Mattfeld, PT

Mike graduated PT school in 1988 with a BS from Ithaca college.  He worked 10 years in Hawaii for the Rehab hospital of the Pacific in the outpatient setting before moving to North Carolina in 1998. Since then he has worked for HRMC  in the Outpatient setting, Acute Care, and most recently in Home Care. During his free time he farms and enjoys the outdoors with his wife of 18 years. He enjoys serving the people of Haywood County and on occasion has worked with the same patient in all 3 settings! 

Susan Phillips, BSN-RN

I received my ADN-RN from the College of Central Florida in 1997, and just recently received my BSN-RN from Western Governors University. I started my nursing career in Tucson, Arizona, working on a medical/surgical floor. In 2001, I moved to Haywood County and began working at HRMC, first working on the medical/surgical floor, then PCU, ICU, Women's Care, Western Carolina Cardiology, and the Pre-operative clinic. In 2015, I began working for Home Care Services. I love home care and wish that I had gotten here sooner! I have two adult children and one granddaughter. I enjoy reading, horseback riding, and spending time with family. 

Lucille Pryor, CNA

I been a CNA for fifteen years and I love my job! I am very blessed to have a wonderful husband and a wonderful family (including my dog)!

Marion Reinsch, PT

Marion has been a Physical therapist in Haywood County since 1982. Her special interest and expertise is in Pediatrics, specifically infant-toddlers. Other interests include camping, traveling,and gardening.

Theresa graduated from Haywood Community College  with her Associates Degree in Nursing after working as an LPN for 18 years. She enjoys helping people and giving back to our community.  When not working, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family. 

Kristi Teske, MA CCC-SLP

Kristi earned her master’s degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Central Florida  and her bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. Kristi has worked with both the adult and pediatric populations in the areas of feeding and swallowing, cognition, speech, and language disorders. Kristi has training in Oral Placement Therapy, Interactive Metronome, and electrical stimulation and uses a sensory, motor, and behavioral approach to feeding and speech development with children. Having a child with Down syndrome has allowed Kristi to understand therapy and developmental needs from a parent perspective and bring more caregiver involvement into her sessions. She is passionate about maximizing each person’s potential and quality of life. Outside of work, Kristi volunteers with Special Olympics North Carolina and is on the Development Team for SONC Young Athletes bringing foundational sports programs to WNC. Kristi coached the Young Athletes program for 6 years.  In addition to spending time with her husband and 2 children, she enjoys golfing, running, triathlons, hiking, and reading.

Becky Trantham, RN - Care Manager

Becky received her Associates degree from Haywood Community College in 1992.  She also went to A-B Technical College in 1975 where she earned her certification in dental assisting.  She has been practicing nursing at HRMC since 1991 starting out in Obstetrics as an LPN but later working in all areas at HRMC as an RN until her transfer to Home Care Services in 1996.  Becky worked as a field nurse for 3 years and since 1999 has been in the supervisor/manager role to Home Care staff.  She is a Haywood County born and raised resident and enjoys traveling and outdoor activities with her husband, and spending lots of time with her grandkids and her dogs.

I started working with my mother at Chestnut Park Rest Home in 1975 assisting in patient care for 12 years and got my CNA License  during that time. I began working at HRMC Home Care Services in 2001 and have loved every minute of it.I love helping my patients and making them feel good. I have two lovable grandkids,Libby and Will and when I"m off, I love being with them.

Jessica Yarski, Referral and Intake Specialist

I received my Associates Degree in Arts in  2015, and recently began the Medical Office Assistant program at Haywood this year. I am a native of Haywood county, and excited about working in home health. I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring what else WNC has to offer.
