No appointment necessary at our Urgent Care Clinics in Waynesville and Canton. Appointments are available on a walk-in basis, seven days a week from 8a.m. - 6:30 p.m.. The sports physical is the definitive guide for physicians and other health professionals who evaluate athletes before training or competition - an essential tool for promoting the health and safety of athletes. The sports physical provides the medical background for decision by the individual athletes' physician or the team physician. The sports physical screens for potential catastrophic condition, but also can catch condition that can predispose an athlete to injury or illness. All patients are seen on a walk-in basis. Major credit cards are accepted.

How to prepare for the sports physical:

  • Ideally the exam should be performed at least six weeks before the start of practice.
