When you need care that should not wait, but it is not a life-threatening emergency, Haywood Urgent Care offers convenient access to care seven days a week.

With locations in Canton and Waynesville, our urgent care teams provide treatment for many common illnesses and minor injuries, helping you get the care you need close to home.

Urgent care may be the right choice for non-life-threatening concerns such as minor cuts, burns, wounds, sprains, strains, earaches, eye irritation, rashes, allergic reactions without trouble breathing, persistent fever, cold or flu symptoms, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and other urgent health needs.

For serious or life-threatening symptoms — including chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding, major injury, head injury, or loss of consciousness — call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

When do I visit an Urgent Care?

Urgent care centers treat injuries or illnesses requiring immediate care, but not serious enough to require an ER visit. Some of the following conditions may be treated at our Urgent Care locations:

• Allergies
• Minor cuts, burns, wounds
• Minor eye injuries, infections, irritations
• Muscle aches & pains
• Persistent fever
• Severe cold & flu symptoms
• Severe earaches
• Sprains
• Upset stomachs
• Other non-life-threatening but urgent needs
