Brandon B. Herndon, MD Joins Haywood Regional Medical Center

Haywood Regional Medical Center (HRMC) welcomes Brandon B. Herndon, MD, to its staff. He will be offering services in family medicine to patients throughout Haywood County and beyond.

Dr. Herndon attended the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, for his undergraduate education, where he studied Biology. He then went on to the University of Florida College of Medicine, Gainesville, FL. Herndon completed his residency in Community Health & Family Medicine Residency at the University of Florida. His clinical interests include preventative healthcare, contraceptive counseling, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and more.

When asked what he looks forward to bringing to the community, Herndon shared “My family and I fell in love with the mountains and the wonderful people here, and I am now thrilled to have the opportunity to work closely with this community. As a family medicine physician, I get to do a bit of everything. I stand by my holistic patient approach where I strive to meet patients where they are, understand their perspectives and be their healthcare advocate.”
