Haywood Regional Medical Center Welcomes First Baby of 2024

Haywood Regional Medical Center is ringing in 2024 with the year’s first #Haybaby bundle of joy. Weighing 6 pounds and 8 ounces and measuring 19 inches, Sophia was born to Madison and Trevor, Monday, Jan. 1, at 12:06 p.m.

“We are so thrilled to welcome our newest family member!” said Madison. “The physicians, nurses and staff at Haywood Regional took such great care of us and we are so thankful to them for making this experience so special.”

The Women’s Care Center at Haywood Regional Medical Center is devoted to providing high quality, compassionate care close to home for new and expecting parents in the region. The Center offers a variety of care plan options from natural birth to high-risk pregnancies and deliveries. Including a level 1 nursery. The Women’s Care Center is LDRP, meaning that the mom will not have to move throughout her labor, delivery, and recovery. The Center also offers personalized and convenient online childbirth classes. These classes include early pregnancy preparation, prenatal bootcamp, coping and comfort, breastfeeding 101, and newborn care. In addition, Haywood Regional Medical Center will provide a tour of the birthing facilities upon request. The Women’s Care Center loves to celebrate the new babies with our #HayBaby campaign on social media.
